Schiavello Architects Office ( SAO architecture ) is a design studio practicing architecture, interior design, landscape design //

Sao architecture is a multidisciplinary office that arose from the initiative of creating a laboratory of concept, the method of developing is dedicated a new architectural experimentation integrating logics, techniques, and sensibilities from natural science, art, technology, and scripting //

The planning method is based upon the three-dimensional, two-dimensional and plastic elaboration of the planning concept up to come to the planning of the structural detal. The activity of studio is mainly based on :

>> International competitions of architecture and architectural research;

>> Researches on social, cultural and physical context ; >> Direct appointments mainly addressed to projects for private persons, builders and companies;

>> Services and collaborations for other studios, firms or producers.

In 2009 the office build the Japanese restaurant Akasaka in Rome and a Roof for apartment in calabria, receive the honourable mention at the Emergence house for abbruzzo competiton with the Full box project,the office  has been selected to second phase with Eco life icons project.

In 2010 SAO architecture has been selected for the ehxibitions Young Italian Architects to represent innovation and design at the Expo Shanghai 2010-Cina and at Department of architects of Rome-Italy,the office receive the honourable mention with Starfish square project.

In 2011 SAO architecture has been exhibited his projects on the first solo exhibition City Fluid where he has been so successful for experimental projects and the relationship between nature and architecture. the office won the international competition with Portonave auditorium project in Brasil.

In 2012 SAO architecture wins the 20+10+X World Architecture Award 11^th cycle, SAO has been selected for the exhibition Young Architect Talent at the Architectural Pugliarch Festival 2012  and at exhibition \\\"Parliamo di architettura\\\" at PAAS (Paessaggio,Architettura,Arte,Salento)- Lecce.

 

SAO architecture through a no-profit association propose a new architecture platform http://www.formakers.eu .FORMAKERS will take advantage of the \\\"digital fabrication REvolution\\\".\\\">We publish projects of urban design/ architectural research/ fashion design/ 3d print/ parametric design / architecture model /photography and much more. FORMAKERS invites architects, designers, artists, students, scientists and individuals of all backgrounds to explore, research and investigate new design paradigms and urban visions.

In actuality the office is working in partnership with Bottarelli Canhadas LTDA for to build the won projects in the porto of Navegantes-Brasil // Schiavello Architects Office is founded and directed by Francesco Schiavello

Francesco Schiavello Principal

Born in Vibo Valentia, Francesco Schiavello graduated in architecture in Rome, Receive an International Master of Management of the complex project in Architecture from “la Villette” of Paris and “La Sapienza” of Rome, he studied abroad at the \\\\\\\"Bauhaus Universität\\\\\\\" in Weimar, Germany. 

He develop constantly research in the field of architecture and design. In 2018 he received the IAA Interarch 2018 Grand Prix and the Gold Medal of the \\\\\\\"World Triennial of Architecture\\\\\\\" in Sofia and the Regula Award 2018. Its architectures are published in numerous national and international magazines.

Francesco Schiavello is a member of the Order of Architects of Rome.

 

He worked on various international studies of Architecture, but his main professional training occurred at the study of: > Massimiliano Fuksas where he worked on various projects ranging from the competition stage to the executive one :
